Stay Tuned: UPEI Explorer’23

What is UPEI Explorer?

A team-based school competition, where high school students engage in a dynamic environment to solve a challenging situation within a limited time. Teams will tackle real challenges in various disciplines, such as Engineering, Computer Science, Business, and Entrepreneurship. Each team will be required to solve as many challenges as possible from the series of challenges presented on the day of the competition.

Why Participate?

Participants of UPEI Explorer will benefit from the following:

  • The first three winning teams will be awarded monetary prizes worth 10,000 EGP for first place, 3,000 EGP for second place, and 2,000 EGP for third place.
  • The first three winning teams will receive a certificate of achievement from the University of Prince Edward Island, Cairo campus.
  • All participants will receive certificates of participation from the University of Prince Edward Island, Cairo Campus (UPEI).
  • Faculties and program advising sessions will be held for all participants to help students prepare for their undergraduate studies.
  • A day full of fun activities, food and more!

Who is Eligible to Participate?  

 

  • Students from grades 11 and 12 are eligible to participate. 
  • Each team must be between 3-5 students.
