Message from the Associate Dean

Computer Science has profoundly transformed various aspects of human life and has intertwined with many aspects of life, such as business, economics, healthcare, etc. This rapid pace of technological progress calls for a highly skilled workforce that can adapt and contribute to the ever-evolving landscape.

UPEI’s Computer Science specializations are designed to equip graduates with the diverse skill set and adaptability required to thrive in this dynamic field. By fostering a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application, the program prepares students to excel in prominent sectors like video game development, data analytics, business analytics, and, of course, the broader computer science field. Moreover, the students can enroll in the CO-OP education program, which puts them in direct contact with the job market.

Student activities include but are not limited to the CS coding club, the Metaverse lab, and the Math Help Center. UPEI Cairo Campus distinguishes itself by providing students with the necessary tools and knowledge to compete effectively in these demanding and rapidly growing job markets during and after graduation.

Co-operative Education

The Co-op Program at UPEI Cairo Campus, launched in 2020, bridges the gap between academic learning and real-world career experience. This integrated program allows students to alternate academic terms with paid work terms, applying classroom knowledge to practical challenges. Supported by industry partners such as The Greek Campus, SED-Saudi Egyptian Developers, Money Fellows, Koinz, and Dabur, the program provides invaluable exposure to various fields.

Students in the program complete at least three 14-week work terms and professional development courses, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and professional networks needed to thrive.

Upon successful completion, students receive a notation on their transcript and graduation parchment, marking their achievement.

Message from the Dean

We offer comprehensive degree programs in core fields like Computer Science, alongside specialized and professional programs in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, and Video Game Programming, designed to equip students with cutting-edge skills for today’s dynamic job market.
