Invitation, Gown, and Hood Pick-Up

Submit the form to choose one location to pick up your invitations, gowns, and hoods, either on campus or at the Customer Relations Office in Building 250, Northern 90th St., 5th Settlement

Graduating Class Photo-shoot

Professional portraits will be taken of all graduates. All graduates are required to come prepared to wear their cap and gown. Please note that photos will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Punctuality is highly encouraged.

Students can bring family and friends to join them for photos and to celebrate with music, food, and graduation tokens.

Pre-Convocation Gathering 

The Official Party, including the Lieutenant Governor, Chancellor, President, and government and other dignitaries gather here prior to the procession and ceremony. Ushers escort them to Building A. 

Registrar’s Office staff will pin the hoods to the graduates’ gowns and line them up accordingly.

Assembly and Academic Procession – Faculty

Academic Party members gather here with their regalia before the procession and ceremony. Staff will be on hand and line them up accordingly.

Academic Procession Line-up Begins.

The Official Platform Party family members will be escorted to Special Guest Seating. Members of the Platform Party, including the Chancellor, President, and other dignitaries, will gather at Building A’s ground floor to prepare for the procession and ceremony.

Faculty will move to the entrance to be ready for the start of the procession.

Academic Procession

Graduates leave building B escorted by the Convocation Marshall. Academic procession with the Academic Party and Official Stage Party file in.

Graduates leave their assigned seats in the same order they proceeded with to follow the Convocation Marshal, followed by the Academic party, and Official Stage Party.

Gown And Hood Return

A Microsoft Bookings link will be sent to students’ UofCanada email to choose date, time, and location to return gowns and hoods, and receive refunds either on campus or at CRO.

Note: International students MUST return gowns and hoods on campus and get refunded through the Finance department.
