At UPEI Cairo Campus, Athletics play a vital role in supporting our mission to foster student success, well-being, and a strong campus community. We are committed to promoting athletic achievement and delivering inclusive, high-quality physical activity programs that contribute to a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Our goal is to lead in both varsity and campus sport offerings by providing engaging, consistent, and sustainable programs for our students, staff, and faculty.

Our campus gym is equipped with a wide range of world-class fitness equipment designed to support all levels of training, from beginners to advanced. Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve endurance, or maintain overall wellness, our facilities provide tools and space to help you reach your goals in a safe, supportive environment.

Operational Hours:
- Sunday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

– The university has 22 teams in various individual and team sports
– We were chosen to host the 2024 Third Sector Championship for Egyptian universities.
– Our on-campus facilities include:
- Soccer court
- Basketball court
- Padel tennis court
- Tennis court
- Running track
- Gaming room (ping pong, billiards, foosball)
- A full floor dedicated to the gym, fully equipped with state-of-the-art training machines and tools
Athletic Scholarships:
- The university offers athletic scholarships for top-performing athletes.
- More than 10 students benefit annually, with scholarships reaching up to 100% tuition discount.
