UPEI Olympics 2025 — A Showcase of Talent and Team Spirit!

The University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) Cairo Campus recently hosted the UPEI Olympics 2025, a two-day sports event that brought together high school students from across Cairo for an unforgettable celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and school pride. 

From football and basketball to padel, CrossFit, and ping pong, participating schools showcased their skills, energy, and determination across five competitive categories. The campus came alive with the sound of cheering teams, thrilling plays, and moments of victory that reflected the dedication and passion of every participant. 

Champions emerged after rounds of intense and exciting matches, earning trophies and medals in recognition of their outstanding performance and commitment. The event concluded with a festive atmosphere that celebrated not only the winners but every athlete who demonstrated perseverance, respect, and fair play, values at the heart of the UPEI community. 

Beyond the competitions, the UPEI Olympics provided students with a chance to connect with UPEI faculty and staff, explore the campus, and experience firsthand the inclusive, energetic environment that defines UPEI Cairo. The event also served as a bridge between education and sports, inspiring students to push their limits both on and off the field.
