UPEI Cairo Welcomes New Students to the 2025–2026 Academic Year

The University of Prince Edward Island – Cairo Campus proudly opened the doors to a new academic year, welcoming a vibrant cohort of students eager to begin their university journey.

The start of the 2025–2026 academic year marks not only a continuation of UPEI Cairo’s commitment to academic excellence but also the beginning of exciting new chapters for our growing student community.

To kick off the year, the campus hosted its 2 Orientation Days, an energetic and inspiring event designed to help students transition smoothly into university life.
The 2 days was filled with engaging sessions, interactive activities, and opportunities to connect with faculty, staff, and fellow students. Through campus tours, information booths, and student-led sessions, newcomers gained a deeper understanding of UPEI Cairo’s dynamic learning environment and supportive community.

During the orientation, students were officially welcomed to the four faculties that form the academic heart of UPEI Cairo: Faculty of Science, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering, McDougall Faculty of Business.

UPEI Cairo’s faculty members, student ambassadors, and staff extended a warm welcome to all students, encouraging them to embrace every opportunity, explore new ideas, and make the most of their university experience both academically and personally.

As the semester begins, UPEI Cairo Campus continues to foster a community where innovation, collaboration, and global engagement thrive.
